This is our Holiday Gift to all of our Friends
This is our main event here at the Railroad. Pete opened it in 1994 with a collection of 20,000 lights and figures
he had made here in our shop. As the years went by it just grew and grew.
Now we are up to over 200,000 lights and over 450
hand painted figurines. It takes all of the month of November to get it all set
up, for our opening. We are always adding and working on displays right up to
our closing night each year. On the Holiday Lights Train you will ride through
our Winter Wonderland, where you will see 8' toy soldiers, giant candy canes,
stockings and teddy bears. Journey through our tunnel all decorated for the
season. Many of our displays are activated by the train as it passes.
In 1999 we added our 8 horse carousel, and the dancing snowflakes.
Several new displays have been added for 2002.
We have a new lighted entry to the Park
and...... Well just come on out and see for yourself, I don't want to spoil the new
surprises for this year.
After your train ride enjoy our G scale train display in our
ticket booth and have popcorn and hot chocolate.
Don't miss this ride it really makes the Holidays come alive. This event opens November, 26 and run through New Years Eve.
